The Laois/Offaly MEND programme
MEND in partnership with Laois Domestic Abuse Service are pleased to announce that a new MEND Programme has been established in Laois/Offaly and is ready to receive referrals from the Laois/Offaly area and bordering towns as of March 2015.
MEND - Men Ending Domestic Abuse, formerly known as the South East Domestic Violence Intervention Programme (SEDVIP) was set up as a regional initiative under the auspices of the South East Regional Planning Committee on Violence Against Women.
The name MEND (men ending domestic abuse) was chosen in 2007 to reflect the work being carried out in the programme and to highlight men’s responsibility for changing their behavior.
The programme is free and confidential.
